The Calendar Timeline

Plan your day visually — drag tasks onto a timeline next to your real calendar.

The Calendar section (⌘2) is FocusMo's main planning surface: a Day/Week timeline where you drag tasks into time slots, see your real calendar events, and watch completed sessions fill in the picture of your day.

The Calendar section requires FocusMo Pro with calendar integration enabled.

What's on the timeline

  • Scheduled focus blocks — tasks you've placed into time slots.
  • Apple Calendar events — read-only context; tap one for details.
  • Completed sessions — dimmed with strikethrough, so you see what actually happened.
  • The live session — shown in-progress with a progress bar.
  • App Activity column (optional, on by default) — the apps you actually used, right beside your plan.
  • A red current-time line on today; the view auto-scrolls to now.

Scheduling

  • Drag a task from the sidebar onto the timeline — a dashed preview shows the title and time range. Blocks snap to 15-minute intervals.
  • Drag on empty space to rubber-band a new Focus Block, then assign a task to it.
  • Move a block by dragging its body; resize with the bottom grip.
  • Overlapping is prevented — conflicts show a toast.
  • Delete shows a 5-second Undo toast.
  • Right-click a block for Start Timer and Delete; hover a block for a round play button.

The sidebar

A collapsible list of your unscheduled tasks:

  • Filter tasks… search box; source-filter chips when tasks come from multiple integrations.
  • Right-click a task: Start Timer, Complete, or Schedule for 15m / 30m / 1h / 1.5h / 2h.

View controls

  • Day / Week picker, ‹ Today › navigation.
  • Zoom with ⌘+scroll, pinch, or the +/− controls (default 100% = 120 px per hour). The timeline shows the full 24 hours.
