Calendar Events

FocusMo integrates with Apple Calendar (and anything that syncs into it — Google, Exchange, iCloud) so your meetings and your focus plan live in one view.

Where events appear

1. The planning timeline — events show as read-only blocks alongside your focus blocks; tap for a details popover.
2. The menu bar — the status bar can show your next event's title and a live countdown; clicking lists today's events with per-event actions.
3. The Calendar Events window — a dedicated view with Today/Week/Month toggle and search.

Setup

1. Enable calendar integration in Settings → Calendar.
2. Grant Calendar access when macOS asks (or via System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars).
3. Pick which calendars to show (empty selection = all), and a default calendar for saving sessions.

Managing events

On calendars you can edit, FocusMo is full read/write:

• Create events — title, calendar, start/end, location, notes, reminder.
• Edit and delete events.
• Reminders — add or remove event alerts (default 15 minutes; presets for 1/5/15 minutes, also available from the menu bar event list).

Read-only calendars (like subscribed ones) show a lock and are dimmed.

Meetings and Do Not Disturb

With the DND integration, FocusMo can turn on Do Not Disturb automatically while a meeting is happening.
