Projects

A Project is a named, color-coded focus profile. It bundles three things:

1. Which apps to block (or exclusively allow) — see App Blocking
2. Which websites to block (or exclusively allow) — see Website Blocking
3. Which apps to auto-launch and arrange — see Launch Apps

You assign a Project to a task. When that task's timer runs, the Project's rules take effect. A task with no Project assigned runs with no blocking at all.

Creating and managing Projects

Open the Projects screen — each Project appears as a card with its name and color dot.

• New — click New, give it a name and a color. Names can't contain spaces; use underscores instead.
• Configure — click a Project to open its configuration window with three tabs: Block Apps, Block Websites, and Launch Apps. Changes are staged until you hit Apply Changes (or Save & Close); closing with unsaved edits prompts you to discard or save.
• Edit / Duplicate / Delete — from the Project card. Deletion asks for confirmation and can't be undone.
• Default Project — one Project can be the default, applied to tasks that don't have an explicit Project.

Colors come from a fixed palette of 10 Apple-system-inspired swatches (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Cyan, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Gray).

Templates

Instead of configuring from scratch, start from a template — a one-click preset that pre-fills launch apps, blocked apps, and an auto-trigger mode:

Only apps actually installed on your Mac are shown and applied — a "3/4 apps available" note tells you when something from the template is missing.

Bulk rule management

The Manage Rules Across Projects button opens a matrix view where you can edit app-blocking rules across all Projects at once — handy when you add a new distracting app and want it blocked everywhere.
