Daily Task Reset
Start every day with a clean slate — unfinished tasks move to the backlog automatically.
Daily Task Reset gives you a fresh list every morning: at a time you choose, all incomplete active tasks move to the backlog, and your day starts clean.
Daily Task Reset requires FocusMo Pro.
How it works
- At the reset time, incomplete active tasks move to the backlog.
- Pinned tasks stay in the active list, with their timers reset to full duration — perfect for recurring daily rituals.
- A notification ("Tasks Moved to Backlog") tells you it happened.
Configuring
Settings → Tasks → Daily Task Reset:

Pinning tasks
Three ways to exempt a task from reset:
- Type
noresetwhile creating it in Quick Add or the command palette. - Toggle "Exclude from daily reset" in the task's edit form.
- Use the task's ⋯ menu.
Pinned tasks show a pin badge in the list.
